The 8th Ethereum forced bifurcation will take place on Saturday, December 14, 2019. If you don't understand what forced bifurcation is, you can think of it as a "network nodeupgrade." The exact date of the forced bifurcation may vary depending on the block time of the network and the time zone of each region. You can check the countdown to Istanbul's forced bifurcation on Etherscan. Istanbul is one of the many forced bifurcation of Ethereum 1.x, which will be executed before Serenity (Ethereum 2.0). After this forced bifurcation, Ethereum will transit from the current PoW consensus mechanism to the PoS consensus mechanism. The currently set forced bifurcation block height is 9069000. During this period, the platform will stop the ERC20-USDT deposit service, while OTC deposit will operate normally. It is expected that the node upgrade will be completed by December 15, 2019. During this period the withdrawal service will be performed normally. Sorry for any inconvenience caused.
